Commenting system is a most important factor for blog. Blogger/Blogspot has already default comment system. But according to me the default commenting system of blogger is not that bad. But if you're trying to add something different then you can add a third party commenting system in your blogger blog. Many 3rd party comment systems are available like Disqus, CommentLuv, IntenseDebate and LiveFyre.
Step#1: Adding Livefyre
First of all create an account or sign in on Livefyre. Now, go to
http://www.livefyre.com/install. You will see options like WordPress, Tumblr, Joomla (Beta) and Custom. Select
“Custom” option after adding your site URL, click on
“Next” button.
They will provide you embed code (HTML and JavaScript). Copy this whole code as it is.
Go to settings under “
Posts and Comments” >> disable the comments (
Turn Off Comments In Blogger). Now, add the code provided by Livefyre to your blog.
Step#2: Adding Code to Blogger for Livefyre
Go to your
Blogger Dashboard >>
Template >> Edit HTML >> Proceed. Before editing, make sure you backup your Blogger template first. Find given below code in your blogger template.
<b:if cond='data:post.showThreadedComments'>
Just paste previously copied code before the above code. Hit the “
Save” button. You have successfully installed LiveFyre Comment System in Blogger.
