Auto Publish Your Twitter Tweets As WordPress Posts

Few days ago on my Twitter Account, I was asked a question about how to create new WordPress Posts from Twitter Tweets therefore I have decided to write this tutorial to answer this question. In this article I am going to tell about a plugin called Twitter Tools by Alex King to auto publish twitter tweets as New WordPress Posts.

Twitter Tools is a plugin that creates a complete integration between your WordPress blog and your Twitter account.

Auto Publish Your Twitter Tweets as WordPress Posts

Download and Activate This Plugin and Then Follow These Given Steps:

• Create a Category where you would like to publish all your automated posts. Give name this category such as: Blog Digg, Tweets, or other.
• Go to The Settings Of This Plugin In Your Wp-Dashboard
• Enter Your Twitter Username and Password.
• Enable The Option To Post When You Tweet. If You Do Not Want to Create an Individual Post For Each Tweet, Your Solution Is The Next Option.
• Enable The Option to Create Regular Posting With All Your Tweets From That Day and Modify Other Settings Such as Title Of That Post and Title. (You Can Also Set This to Weekly Posting)
• Select The Category That You Made In Step 1, To Publish Your Tweets
• It's All Done, You're Ready To Go.

Display Tweets In The Sidebar Widget

You can show your tweets on the sidebar of blog with the help of this plugin. Paste the following code in your sidebar.php or any other place that you want it displayed tweets:

Show Last Tweet: Use This Code:

<?php aktt_latest_tweet(); ?>

Some Limitations Of This Plugin

• You can use only 1 twitter account.
• Tweets are not deleted from the tweet table in your WordPress database when they are deleted from Twitter.
