2) Skype for Android – Skype is a free download and works great on Android. 3) Hootsuite – Enhance your social media management with HootSuite, the leading social media dashboard. Manage multiple networks and profiles and measure your campaign results.. Very Convenient and free.
4) Dropbox – Need access to all your files and use DropBox for your cloud storage? The android app works perfectly and keeps precious device memory usage at a minimum.
5) Juice Defender Ultimate – That big display your smartphone has eats up battery life in a big way. So does WiFi, Bluetooth, Angry Birds…..well you get the idea. Juice Defender runs in the background and turns stuff on and off as needed. I have doubled my battery life with this little gem.
6) Yellow Pages for Android – The Yellow Pages aren’t dead, they have gone mobile! This is a great help when looking for businesses and it can use your phones GPS to find places close to you.
7) CIBC Banking App – I have been a CIBC customer for a long time and their award-winning online banking app is one of the best I have seen.
8) Kies Air – Want to connect to your Samsung smartphone from your PC? Kies Air is the app for you.
9) PayPal for Android – Get used to it – soon we will be using our smartphones for purchasing items at retail by using the built in Near Field communication chip that all new smartphones have. Tap and go…
10) Draw Something – I could do a Top 10 list of just games, but my favorite right now is Draw Something – an additive new game that is like a mobile version of Pictionary that you play with your friends that have the app on their device. You know what’s amazing? The game hit the Marketplace 2 month ago and has been downloaded over 35 million times already.
