India Vs England - Opening 3rd Kabaddi World Cup - 2012

Here is good news for all Kabaddi lovers that upholding champions India have been played in Pool A along with England, Afghanistan and Denmark teams in third edition of World Cup Kabaddi Punjab - 2012. On the other side Pakistan are in Pool B along with Sierra Leone, Scotland, Italy teams.  The Pool B be found in Canada, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Norway and Pool D will involve Argentina, Iran, Kenya and USA.

India, Canada and Denmark have been placed in Pool A in the women's section. England, Turkmenstan, USA and Malaysia have been selected for Pool B.

India will begin their operation on December 5 at Doda (Mukatsar). Next World Cup Kabaddi match will be against Afghanistan on 6th December in Sangrur city and complete their league engagement on 11th December 11 after play with Denmark team.

Pakistan will face Sierra Leone in their first concurrence on 3rd December 2012 at Hoshiarpur. Their 2nd league tournament match is against Scotland at Amritsar. Pakistan will come up against Italy in their last league fixture at Chola Sahib (Tarn Taran) on 8th December 2012.

The Indian women confront Denmark in their opening outing in their three-nation league on December 6 at Sangrur. Then Indian women team will face Canada at M R Govt. College Stadium, Fazilka on 9th December 9.

Pool A & B teams in Men section will be stationed at Bathinda. Women teams of A & B pool will be stationed at Ludhiana. Pool C& D teams in Men section will be stationed at Jalandhar. According to media reports Indian men and women teams were taken to New Delhi where dope tests were conducted by the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA).

1. Pool A: India, England, Afghanistan, Denmark. 
2. Pool B: Canada, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Norway.
3. Pool C: Pakistan, Sierra Leone, Scotland, Italy. 
4. Pool D: Argentina, Iran, Kenya and USA.

2. Pool B: England, Turkmenstan, USA and Malaysia.
