3rd Kabaddi World Cup 2012 Opening Ceremony At Bathinda

The biggest stage is set for the joyful opening of the 3rd Kabaddi World Cup tournament in Bathinda city, where Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, Bollywood actress Asin, Bollywood Singer Himesh Reshammiya and Punjabi Singer Miss Pooja is all set to perform during the beginning ceremony on 1st December, 2012.

During this opening ceremony you can also enjoy six-side laser show, electronically controlled fireworks show, Pyrotechnics and breathtaking stunts.

While 16 teams are participating in the men’s category, 7 teams will participate in the women’s category.The prize money for men's team: 2 Crore for Winner, Rs. 1 Crore for runners-Up and Rs. 51 Lakh for the Third Position and For Women's Team: 51 Lakh for the winner, 31 Lakh for the runners-up. Men’s Section: India, England, Afghanistan, Denmark, Canada, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Norway, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, Scotland, Argentina, Italy, Iran, Kenya and USA has given their consent to participate in the Kabaddi World Cup 2012.

In the women’s section India, Canada, Denmark, England, Turkmenistan, USA and Malaysia has given their consent to participate in the tournament However, no decision has been taken on who will be performing at the closing ceremony in Ludhiana on 15th December 2012.
